13:30 Gather and depart from the THSR Taipei Station, take the chartered vehicle to Wulai and arrive at the Wulai Log Cart. Although the glamour of the manpowered Log Cart is no more, one may still appreciate the rich nostalgia by riding the only Log Cart track in the country. |
Take the vehicle towards the Wulai Waterfall, which was once listed as one of the Eight Wonders in Taiwan during the Japanese Occupation Era. The waterfall has a drop height of 80m, and during the rainy season, a torrent of water rushes down the waterfall accompanied by thunderous sounds, composing a majestic sight. Water from the Nanshi River below is crystal clear and visitors often come here for angling and barbequing. |
The next stop is enjoying indigenous dancing performances, which feature the most traditional dancing and singing performances from various indigenous tribes in Taiwan. Such lively and dynamic performances exhibit beauty and power. |
17:30 Return to THSR Taipei Station. |
